Day Services promotes independence and full immersion in the community for people with disabilities and brain injuries. Programs are goal-oriented and focus on life and employment skills. Clinical interventions such as nursing, physical and occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, and behavioral support are available, if needed, in combination with our daily activities.
Participants of this program must be eligible under the DDS guidelines and be currently enrolled in a Waystone Service area. For more information, see our brochure.

Day Habilitation & ABI
Day Habilitation services are designed to support individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability or an acquired brain injury (ABI). These services provide opportunities for individuals to engage in social and community activities, address clinical or medical needs, and increase independence through skill-building and goal-focused activities.
On-site and community-based activities provide participants with opportunities to develop essential skills and achieve their goals. Through a rotating schedule of activities, individuals receive personalized support to:
- Enhance communication and sensorimotor skills.
- Increase independence in daily living.
- Improve self-help and behavioral strategies.
- Foster social engagement and emotional well-being.

Community-Based Day Supports (CBDS)
The CBDS program provides a wide array of skill-building, recreational, and vocational opportunities designed to help individuals build community membership, social, interpersonal, and vocational skills through in-house and community-based activities.

The DDS Supported Employment Program provides individualized employment support through a variety of methods and settings, ensuring participants achieve meaningful and competitive employment while working toward their greatest level of independence.

Veterans Employment (Waypoint Careers)
Waypoint Careers has been proudly serving Veterans in the northeast region of Massachusetts since 2016. Formerly known as Waystone’s Veterans Employment Program, Waypoint Careers focuses on connecting Veterans to meaningful employment opportunities by collaborating with local partners and employers.
